For dogs with basic manners, this
class emphasizes training your dog
to be a “Canine Good Citizen.”
We include leash respect and tolerance
of: handling and grooming by a stranger,
distractions with strange objects, and
short periods of separation without undue
stress. The AKC CGC test is administered
at the end of the class, with certificates
awarded to those who pass. Mixed-breed
dogs are eligible to take the CGC test and
can earn an AKC certificate.
