For dogs who have graduated from Foundation
Skills Level One, and have acquired basic manners, this class
continues the foundation skills and emphasizes the skills
necessary to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. We
include leash respect and tolerance of handling and grooming by
a stranger, distractions with objects, and short periods of
separation without undue stress, with certificates awarded to
those who pass. Mixed breed dogs are eligible to take the
CGC test and can earn an AKC certificate.
