No Class on May 21 & 28

- Performance Pup - A class for puppies age 3-9 mos. to build relationship with handler thru food & toys.  This is not a puppy socialization class, as the puppy should develop eyes for you only!  We will be using clicker fundamentals to introduce various commands & crate games.  Targeting & handling basics will be introduced, as well as agile maneuvers the ball, wobble board, ladder, & rear end awareness.  This class is for serious competitors & their new puppy only.  Please call or email to be put on the waiting list for this class.  You will be contacted with the start date.  This is a limited class.  Taught by Cheryl Sacerich & Carolyn Lincoln.  6 weeks - No Class on May 21 & 28
       
  June 15 - July 6 - Rally -  This class would encompass all levels.  It will give beginners the start they need, cover Advanced and Excellent exercises, and give tips for preparing and showing at all levels.  Unlike the rally classes we hope to start in the fall (7 week format with separate levels), this is more of a workshop or seminar given over a four week period, but with the advantage of a week's practice between each lesson. Sorry, this class is limited to 12 students.  Observers are welcome, but you must register with the office.  Taught by Jan Kren & Betsy Kapp Cost: $60 for non-members, $48 for members, $20 for keybearing.  4 wks - Mon. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. from 6/15 - 7/06.
       
  June 16 - July 21 - Competition Obedience Clicker -  A class for those with who already have clicker training experience & who are interested in developing competition obedience skills.  Focus will be placed on skills such as: heeling, recalls, fronts & finishes, drop on recall & signals, retrieves, and so on.  This class is only for serious obedience competitors & is not designed to teach basic obedience or beginner-level clicker.  Prior to registering for this class, please contact Deb Jones to discuss your dog's suitability for this class. Sorry, this class is now full.  Please contact Deb to be placed on the waiting list.  Observers are welcome, but you must register with the office.  Taught by Deb Jones & Judy Keller Cost: $90 for non-members, $75 for members.  6 wks - Tue. 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.
       
  July 6 - July 27 - Obedience Jumping -  This class will be focusing on jumping for obedience competition, not agility. Sorry, this class is limited to 6 students.  Unlimited non-working audit spots are available, but you must register.  Taught by Judy Askew Cost: $60 for non-members, $48 for members, $20 for keybearing.  Auditors: $8 for non-members, $4 for members,  free for keybearing. .4 wks - Mon. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. from 7/6 - 7/27. ***Sorry, Audit spaces available only***

- Heeling Class - This class will go over the fundamentals of heeling exercises. It's intent is to realize the joy of heeling (the dancing with your dog), ways to keep heeling interesting and FUN while perfecting all the small skills which make up heeling exercises.  This Class is limited to 10 students.  Taught by Judy Askew & Bonnie Burman Cost: $60 for non-members, $48 for members, $20 for keybearing.  Auditors: $8 for non-members, $4 for members,  free for keybearing.  4 weeks - Mon 7:45 - 8:45 p.m. from 7/6 - 7/27.  ***Sorry, Audit spaces available only***

  July 7 - August 18 - FS II - Foundation Skills II.  Taught by Kathy Smith & Kay Wood.   Cost: $90 for non-members, $75 for members.  7 wks - Tue. 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. from 7/7 - 8/18. 
       
   Aug. 3 - Aug. 17 - Toys, Tricks, & Treats - This class will teach you how to use and when to use Toys, Tricks & Treats.  This class will help you build a better relationship with your dog.  The class is open to all dogs any level...  This class will help students in all venues-Obedience, Agility, Rally, Conformation, Household companion!  You will learn how to get more focused attention with the use of Toys, Tricks and Treats.  This class is being taught with methods from several different trainers Sylvia Bishop, Jane Jackson, Susan Garrett, Celeste Meade and more.  Learn how to keep training and showing fun for you and your dog!  Taught by Robin Fargus.   Cost: $39 for non-members, $33 for members, & $15 for keybearing.  3 wks - Mon. 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. from 8/3 - 8/17.
