Why join?
The purpose of CABTC is to disseminate knowledge of dog training techniques, to conduct classes for dogs and their handlers, to hold and support AKC trials and events in all dog sports and to encourage good sportsmanship.

CABTC is entirely run by volunteers.
While there are many benefits of joining CABTC, becoming a member means that you are choosing to become one of the workers that keeps the Club running.


How to apply?
The Process:
If you are interested in becoming a member, you will need two sponsors who have knowledge of your partnerships with your dogs and of your ability to contribute to the Club. These sponsors will fill out a form listing your qualifications.
Submit an application (See form below), along with your two sponsorship letters and a check for your first year of membership.
Your application will be presented to the Board and if accepted, will be presented to the membership. Your application will be published in the club newsletter, Loose Leads. It will be read, along with sponsor letters at three membership meetings. Your membership will be voted on at the third meeting.
As part of the membership process you are asked to attend a Board meeting. You must be present at the first and third reading of your application to the membership.
